Default more snow on the way.

I've had just about all the winter I can stand. I've respooled, reorganized
tackle, waxed my boat & trailer , packed my wheel bearings - plugs ,
lights . etc..
I asked my wife if she wanted to head south for a couple of weeks [to sun]
and she was all for it ,until I mentioned I was going to pull my boat then
all hell broke loose. She flat refused to go if I pulled the boat. Now what
do I do??
I could say " to da% m bad but I'm going. Or "maybe we could take the
grandson-" or "how about asking the kids if they want to go with us". It
doesn't even have to be Florida-. ...Mississippi or Alabama , maybe even La
will do , as long as its warm . [And I don't get shot at].
Sometimes college hoops isn't even enough to take my mind off the cold. I
really feel sorry for the guys north of me...I've vented enough for this
week. Thanks for listening .. Ken

I'll make it easy for you. You can become an honorary Husky fan for the
duration of this season. That way you can enjoy the rest of the season and
take the trip to San Antonio for the Final 4 in the first week of April.
I've already got the side trip to Falcon Lake set up. It's a 200 mile ride
from SA, but worth it.

***It's a serious problem for the angling infected person.

I asked my wife if she wanted to head south for a couple of weeks [to sun]
and she was all for it ,until I mentioned I was going to pull my boat then
all hell broke loose. She flat refused to go if I pulled the boat. Now

what
do I do??

***Does she ever go in the boat with you? She can still lie in the sun,
just doing it from the back of the boat. She can read books, listen to
music or even better yet, sit with a camera and a pair of binoculars and
nature watch. My wife doesn't like to fish that much any more (bad
shoulders), but she still likes to spend time with me. Make a deal, one day
you fish, the next you do something that she wants to do. Heck, when my
wife's two sisters had a double wedding in Jamaica, I took a rod and tackle
box with me.

I could say " to da% m bad but I'm going.

***Bad plan there, you have to come home sometime.

Or "maybe we could take the
grandson-" or "how about asking the kids if they want to go with us".

***That's not too bad of an idea. At least you can play the "family card"
and she'll have someone with her while you're fishing, if she doesn't want
to go.

It
doesn't even have to be Florida-. ...Mississippi or Alabama , maybe even

La
will do , as long as its warm . [And I don't get shot at].

***Not getting shot at is good. Right now, 50 degrees sounds pretty good to
me.

Sometimes college hoops isn't even enough to take my mind off the cold. I
really feel sorry for the guys north of me...I've vented enough for this
week. Thanks for listening .. Ken

***College hoops, or any sport involving a ball for that matter is never
enough to take my mind off the cold.

I think that's the magic ticket... Family... Then she can go shopping (or
something) while you're fishing.

My wife is begging me to pull my boat down to Marietta, Ga (from Indiana) in
the early spring. Daughter lives there, and she wants to see her Grandson!

AKA - free ticket to ride. If I drive, she's happy!

Now if I could just talk her into moving there! (maybe if she packs up the
other grandkids that live here!!!)

It
doesn't even have to be Florida-. ...Mississippi or Alabama , maybe even

La
will do , as long as its warm . [And I don't get shot at].
