I'm in Santa Rosa, CA and I have relatives coming to visit! They are avid fly
fishermen, and I dont know where to tell them to go! Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Denny |

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Easy, take them to a nice hotel in redding. You can then fish all the steelhead rivers in eureka, the lower sac, the upper sac, the hat, the trinity, feather river, yuba river, the sierras. Way too many places to fish. Try the close-by American River: shad are in the easily accesible areas of Sacramento; above Nimbus Dam, the trout are rising on both forks of the river. Watch out for the weather, as the American blows out quickly. There is a storm system poised to hit N. Californis in a few days. |
