Humongous bluegill...

....anyone interested can check out abpf for the biggest bluegill I have
caught in recent memory. This one nailed a foam beetle tied by Chris Richer
in the 2001 Dog Days flyswap. Also the first fish on my new 2 wt. 6'6"
flyrod...built for me by my brother Tom.

I got one back in 1955, when I was 14, that was 11 1/2 inches long. I was
riding my bicycle home with it and a car stopped. The guy asked me where I
got it and I wouldn't tell him. He just laughed and said I don't blame you,
and he left.
