cabelas products
Anyone have any opinions on cabelas brand rods and reels?
Specifically looking at the prodigy baitcaster.

I had a Cabalas reel "black label" or something like that that wasn't worth
2 cents. I couldn't send it back fast enough.I then bought my first 201 curado that is paired to a "fish eagle 2"..The reel is great and the rod used a lot Ken "1984" wrote in message ... Anyone have any opinions on cabelas brand rods and reels? Specifically looking at the prodigy baitcaster.

The Prodigy spinning reel is my all time favorite. I don't know much about
the Prodigy baitcaster, but if it was put together with the same attention to detail and quality as the spinning reel you may have a winner on your hands. Does anyone know what the Prodigy baitcaster is based upon? The spinning reel is a "dolled up" Capricorn. "1984" wrote in message ... Anyone have any opinions on cabelas brand rods and reels?
