Default Prop question...

Jerry's suggestion about look on eBay for a SS prop leaves me really
confused. Ok, I find alot of them, but what size do I need? When I buy
aluminum, I use a 12.5 x 23p. I've heard that I need to reduce the pitch of
the blades when I buy SS, but how do I know by how much?

I found this 13 x 23p here... good price.

But the pitch is the same as my aluminum....

I never heard anything about changing pitch. I bought both of them at the
same pitch.

I heard that you should reduce by one inch of pitch. Your mileage will
vary.

It has to do with lost power due to the flexing of the blades with aluminum.

I imagine with a higher HP motor with larger blades the difference may be
more pronounced.
