Whew! Got Lucky!!!

Let the batteries in my Garmin hand-held go dead, and I mean dead. I put a
fresh set of batteries in and when I turned it on, it went through the
initial setup (setting of country, city, time, etc.). I thought for sure
all my waypoints would be deleted, as I frantically flipped through the
pages. But much to my delight they were all present and accounted for. A
happy man indeed! Now, I think I will write them down again, and put the
list in our fire box for safe keeping.
