rookie fisheman!!!!

Hi group!

I'm new to this group and this country and would like any pointers to do
with fishing around the Rockingham area of WA! Pretty wide question I know,
but having read all the posts here it would appear you all know what you're
on about!! Have spoken to "the locals " we come across and they're all
really friendly and helpful but my son is now gagging to catch something a
bit bigger than a blowfish!!!

Please , any publications to read or any other websites would be highly
appreciated!!!
