Default Angling in Milton Keynes

Hi all,

As a complete novice I would appreciate advice on deciding on good places to
fish... I that I mean places easy on the novice.

I live very close to the Grand Union Canal... bout 5mins walk (for which
some of my pals who fish are most jealous!!) Would that be a good place to
start, obviously with non expensive and basic kit??

All advice is appreciated

Andy
