Does anyone have a link to information regarding weather patterns and
bass fishing (or fishing in general, for that matter)? I've been paying attention to the fish and game forecast (I link to this on my website - http://www.wsbtv.com/weather/2371706/detail.html). I'll go out to the pond during a peak fishing time and get completely skunked. I fished probably 5-6 hours per day all of the 3-day weekend and caught one small bass and a crappie (trying everything else, I resorted to bouncing a jig along the bottom to snag that one). So, I'd like to find a resource that explains how fish respond to low pressure, high pressure, etc. Even the catfish weren't biting this weekend. |

The WSB TV info is for the Atlanta area only. I live in Kennesaw, GA, just north of Atlanta and have been skunked on the days and times when it was supposed to be good too. But overall, I think the Solunar Tables are fairly accurate. I have observed birds and squirrels in my back yard that you could set your watch by them on the times. BD |

But surely there are external influences at work besides the solunar
tables that determine fish behavior (and no, I'm not calling you Shirley). |
