Some have wondered about roff's own bouncer and I'm sorry
to say that in the reorganization of my computer stuff
from dumbass, nitwit, insanely stupid Micro$oft to glory-
be-to-God, yes-it-really-is Unix I have lost the only pix
I had from the Southeast Minnesota 'Clave.

However, I want to make it clear, in the absence of any
photographic proof to the contrary, this is *NOT* Cyli.

Well, speaking only for myself, it would have never occurred to confuse you with
her, but I suppose there may be those out there that might have done that very
thing, and now, that catastrophe will be averted...well, for those with decent
news servers or the sense to use Google Groups and look it up...

You are/were a computer professional and you don't have your data backed
up especially when you're changing over operating systems? Microsoft may
suck but blaming them.......

That lady reminds me of someone I know/knew but for the life of me
I can't place her. I did have a tough girl friend one time but she
wasn't that big! That girlfriend could shoot stick. We'd go into bars
and I'd hustle guys with the line, "****, my girlfriend can shoot pool
better than that." We seldom paid for any drinks. She was fun.

The hard drive on my little Vaio bit the dust unexpectedly
so it wasn't exactly a planned changeover. The Vaio was five
years old and a nice little laptop in its day, Apple hadn't
switched over to Unix yet when I bought it so it wasn't as
stupid a choice as it seems now. Anyway, I had my "data"
backed up, I didn't lose any of my written works or financial
**** but I never bothered to back up photos. They're still
recoverable, I haven't thrown the box away, but I don't feel
like f***in' with a Micro$oft box at the moment.
