Just bought a Lowrance H20. What I'm wanting feedback on is the map chips.
Really concentrating on the hot maps chips by navionics. Question is do I spend the extra 60 bucks on the premium or is the classic version good enough detail? Also if anyone has any good knowledge on hunting GPSs, would love to talk to you outside the group. Thanks. Scott |

Rich,
Thanks for the knowledge, but I'm not sure that I'll get all those options that you do with the color bar and what not. My H20 cost probably half of what you bought. I intend to get something bigger/better on my new boat next year, but this is my little handheld first GPS. Of course I guess I could just buy the premium and cross it over to the new boat? Scott |

Go to the Lowrance web site and take a close look at the Map Create 6 USA
Topo version. I have got a whole lot to learn about it but it sure has a lot of info. Its a total of 6 CD covering the entire US and it also includes Hunting databases. wrote in message ... Hey there, thanks for the lead. Unless you could post me a link to exactly
what you're looking at I'm lost. Just spent about an hour on the Lowarance website. The only things I could see is the improvement in detail with the HotSpots chips. Didn't see anything where the MapCreate software alone makes the topo. Sorry, but I just have to plead rookie on this one. Thanks. Scott |
