Default Finally found some!

Truthfully guys, I have been struggling as of late on Winnebago. A lot
of 1 and 2 fish days, and nothing to really speak about. This morning,
I hate the lake, and storms were looming. I checked some spots, that
should have been clutch with the wind we had, and nothing, not shad, not
fish. Was motoring to another spot, when I noticed about 20 seagulls
sitting on the water, and every once in a while would pop up and grab
something, then settle back down. It is a rocky flat that has some
cabbage mixed in, but very sparse. It averages probably 2.5 - 4' until
it eventually tapers to 10' and mud. So I started throwing a 1/2 ounce
Yozuri vide, in Shad color. To make a long story short, I landed 3
legals (15", 17", and 18") , all smallies, and 7 shorts (one that just
barely couldn't touch the 14" mark on the bump board). So in about 2
hours I landed 10 fish, and lost a couple others, before rain and
lightning drove me off the lake :-(.

I got soaked the other evening. It was clear when I launched. The
fishing was average and I was heading back in when this monsoon
exploded out of nowhere. I mean It came down! I was soaked to the bone
by the time I got to the ramp. I wouldn't have minded so much if the
pre storm fishing was spectacular.
