I picked up a whiting spey fly neck, bronze, and I'm having trouble using
it. All of my spey hackles wind up looking thin and wispy. I haven't had any trouble with other sorts of heron substitutes, but these hackles aren't coming out right. I haven't figured out how to use more than one hackle without binding down the first, and if I put too many wraps on, I obscure the body, anyway. Any advice? -- Scott |
