Default New Fishing Website

http://www.midwestangling.com/

We hope to provide you with a forum to make friends, share fishing
information, and just have some fun. I will do my best to provide
information for the mighty Mississippi and major fisheries here in the
Midwest. Please share your adventures as well. I hope to be able to
bring you the latest from the tourney circuits and share with you
techniques that have been catching fish. We also have "Vacation" and
"Canada" forums to share info on fishing trips. We all look for nice
clean places that are reasonable and affordable. Last but not least...
a section for just the girls to chat about us and our weird obsession
of chasing things with fins.

MidwestAngling.com is brand new and will continue to improve and grow.
Please give us your input on how you want your board. - Reels

Hello: I just discovered this club location, and hopefully can join in from time to time. I will basically "lurk" and enjoy your thoughts and conversation.

I have been a Life Member of North American Fishing Club for about 12 years or so, and during the '50's and '60's enjoyed some tournament fishing with my sons. In the '40's I was honored to represent the Heddon Company in various Tournament "Skish" casting contests and demonstrations in Georgia. During my High School days I enjoyed working at Reeder and McGaughey Sporting Goods, and really learned my fishing techniques and lore from Tommy Reeder.

Having said that, my recent fishing has been non-existent, and I still have some rods and reels with tags hanging from them. Now retired, and trying to improve on my Barbeque and Slow Smoking skills, I hopefully will wet a line soon.
