Chicago Fisherfolk

Greetings all,
As my weekly commute from New Jersey to Chicago continues (sigh...), I have started to see a few bass boats making their appearance in some neighborhood yards including a nice looking Ranger a few blocks away. I would appreciate any fishing contacts in the Chicago 'burbs as well as any type of advice on the large/smallmouth fishing in that area.
