They predicted that today would be in the 20s with high winds, and
tomorrow would be in the 40s and pretty much dead calm (SSW 3mph).

Well, it's been cold here all day, but it's also been calm. I could have
gone out, if I had bothered to clean the freshly fallen snow out of the
boat yesterday, when it went up to near 50. Instead, 6" of fresh, fluffy
snow has turned into 2 inches of crusty crap on top of a half inch of
ice. I have the catalytic heater in the boat and a tarp draped over the
boat now, trying to melt enough of it that I won't slip and kill myself
the first time I set the hook tomorrow.

I gotta tell ya, a month of weekends like this might get it to the point
that this wasn't any fun any more for an old curmudgeon like me.

I hear ya Rich, don't fall old man!

My boat is locked up for the year, covered with Xmas lights & reindeer for
the next couple of days. Its supposed to be in the 60's later in the week,
maybe if the opportunity presents itself I'll go toss a jerkbait in the
Delaware just to save my sanity.

Happy Holidays bro!
