Rod Builders? Guide placement?
Any rodbuilders out there? If so, I put this little thang together to
help "compute" the initial location of Guides. Pretty sure it's accurate. GUIDE PLACEMENT TOOL, the link is on the left hand side of the page.

No software can replace a static displacement test, nor will it improve on
my line of sight. Theres nothing to install, its just an online excel sheet.

I can't view the chart for the same reason that Steve mentioned. The link
for the web component is apparently to your e:\ drive and not on your web-server. What's your beef with Mudhole? There is nothing wrong with Mudhole that I've noticed, they have the best
access to American Tackle products as they are right next door and can pull it off the shelf if they don't have it. If you go to the Library at rodbuilding.org it has an article on doing a static distribution test that will give you the best guide/rod performance, can supply Rich Forhan's Revolver Rod formulas if you are inclined toward a spiral wrapped rod. They also have other interesting articles in the Library.
