Nope. You're recklessly "assuming" again.

We'll see.

The problem statement doesn't state that the rope has to stay
positioned over the equator

Nor does it include the option of any movement other than verticle. So?

Evidently, your German heritage compels you to believe that anything not
expressly permitted is forbidden.

Ah! The Germans are behind this! Well, I might have guessed it.

Anyway, you were going to tell me what Joe wrote?

I already have, word for word.

Really? Refresh my memory.

Wolfgang

Just click something like "View messages: All" and scroll up to Joe's
post. Or to mine, where I quote him. It's easy.

It would be even easier if you'd just tell me again.

Are you referring to Broke back Mountain? I haven't seen it yet. I hear
it has some terrific Wyoming scenery. :-)

Anyway, you were going to tell me
what Joe said.

I already did. Verbatim. What do you want me to do, put it in my sig?

Your fantasy, not mine.

I heard it's about a couple of cowboys. They wrassle. They smooch. What's
new?

Anyway, you were going to tell me what Joe said.

O.k.

Wolfgang
