After 4.5 months of reading and dreaming...

.... the season has started!

Went fishing yesterday with a friend, saw a hatch of february reds

but no surface action, had one strike in a red streamer and a very
good sandwich with chorizo and some Spanish cheese. Also took a few

This is a place that is well known for having practically no fish, but
it has become my personal tradition to open the season there - and not
go back until the same day next year.
