You must not be from around here...We don't open until the last
saturday in june here

Open as in keeping bass? Or Are you not even allowed to fish around them?

Can't have anything that even resembles a bait that would be able to
attract them so no fishing at all. We can fish other species but if we
hook a bass or have bass type bait on the hook and get caught it would
depend on the disposition of the officer on that perticular day so we
stay out of trouble and wait.
