Default Is it September yet?

I know I hate to rush right through the summer, but hell... I'm ready for
the Northwoods Classic! What are the official dates again?

Maybe my lucky streak will continue until then...

Oh, I hate to rush through summer too, it's not nearly long enough up here
in the frozen tundra. But, for those of you that are contemplating
attending the Northwoods Classic, it will be held on September 8th and 9th
(a Friday/Saturday), once again here in Rhinelander on Boom Lake. That's
the weekend AFTER Labor Day.

I know that some dislike Boom, but I have my reasons for putting it back
there. I've never had a problem with it, finding keeper bass, it's
conveniently located so long trailer sessions aren't a problem, many of the
regulars are beginning to know the lake and the ones most vocal in wanting
the tournament moved didn't show last year anyway!

So, if you're thinking about attending, you now have the dates. Many start
showing up on Tuesday for pre-fishing. Thursday night we will meet once
again at the Rhinelander Pub & Cafe for dinner and the pre-tournament
meeting. Friday night will have us taking over the Al-Gen for their
fantastic Fish-Fry and Saturday night will have the entire group to Casa
Huber for the awards ceremony/wild game/brat fest and a lot of
laughing/joking far into the night.

If you've never attended one, you REALLY need to, and if you've been here in
the past, you know what a great time it is. Plus, if you do come, you've
significantly reduced your chances at shattering your pelvis!
