Been at it a long time. I know how a well-tied fly should act like on and in
the water. Please contact me. http://mysite.verizon.net/vze7lofi/flytyer/ |

Riverman thanks, please excuse my spelling and just for the record I do know
how to spell Al Caucci's name it was an oversight. A bad one and not pedantic at all. Please don't judge my tying abilities by my spelling oversights. I do have the talent to create fine flies (and) spot good materials, very important. The legs on the caddis larvae are Hungarian partridge died yellow. The legs on the stoneflies are mottled hen feather flexcemented and formed to shape with a hot tweezers. At that time I had been fooling around with Oliver Edwards techniques Also I've decided to spell tier tyer I understand both ways of spelling is acceptable. But lately I've been doubting it. I think that should be "flexamented" (G).

Please contact me. http://mysite.verizon.net/vze7lofi/flytyer/ I had Gerard tie me up two of my favorite flies, one of each of the Adams #16 and the Light Cahill #16. I received them yesterday and I'll have to say, they're the most beautiful examples I have ever seen. He is indeed a perfectionist and very experienced. I liked them so much, I placed an order for a dozen of each. I'm taking my wife up to a bed and breakfast and sightseeing the beautiful Shasta country side in Northern CA. before it's back to teaching for her. I'll fish the McCloud River for about 4 hours early morning on the 20th using only Gerard's two patterns, of course if I don't catch anything it won't be because of the ties. fwiw, -tom |
