Default Dryfly Tubefly--Exists or not?

A dryfly tubefly.........

Is there such a thing?
Has anyone seen or read or heard about a reference to
the idea of a dryfly tubefly before?

.........I made the claim I invented it.
Someone else challenged that claim, but
supplied no counter example.

So I'm (more than mildly) curious.
Maybe it's out there and I'm just a dumbass.
But I sure haven't seen it.

What about you?
Who what where how?
Help me out.

Sandy,

I can't find the reference from roff or rofft, but a couple years ago there
were several posts about pike flies, in particular dahlberg divers tied on
tubes. Sure, a diver isn't what you're talking about, but one of the
references in that thread led to regular dries, even fairly small, tied on
tubes.

I wish I could see that picture, but it doesn't show up.

Thank you Chas. I'll look for that.
