Hi, does anyone know if this club is still around (or an equivalent
club available) in the DC Metro area? I'm a novice and would
appreciate joining a club to learn.

Thanks!

If they do I don't think they have a website...

Why not look into being a rider in a MD or VA based Federation Club?

I don't know about SWBC, but you might consider New Horizons Bass
Anglers. Go to www.nhbaYouthFoundation.org to learn about the club.
Boaters and non-boaters, rookies and experts, men and women over the
age of 16 welcome. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to fun,
education, and fellowship. We hold 2 "Kid's Derbies" in the summer
(grand prize: a bay fishing trip plus a HUGE selection of tackle) and
help local BSA groups learn about fishing and safety when asked. We
hold club tournaments all around the region, but the bulk of them are
on the tidal Potomac.

Contact me at if you have any questions.
