Old Fishermen Rule
I was out fishing on one of my favorite lakes here in s/w Michigan
yesterday, and had a great time catching nice largemouth bass on a blade bait. I was fishing a channel that had about 10 other people fihing for bluegills, nobody seemed to be catching any fish of size. I go out to the mouth of the main lake and here is this Old dude in his v-bottom getting some nice gills, he was "Ice fishing without the ice" using ice fishing gear, 2lb. line, ice jig and wigglers, point being, watch old guys and learn. Big Fish

Amen, I usually take a pair of Binoc's fishing with me, and spot the old
dudes in there hidden honey holes. I respect their space, but they usually know where and how. It always pays to talk to the old timers too as much as possible, when possible....
