FYI... I've come to know Scott Rauber, author of "How To Get Sponsored For
Fishing Tournaments" over the past year or two, and he has helped a lot of people and organizations figure out how to be more effective in lining up sponsors. Rauber will be presenting a seminar, free of charge, at the Bassmaster Classic in Birmingham. There's an article about it on Basszone: http://www.basszone.com/2007zlines/seminar.htm If you happen to be heading that way, I'd recommend putting in a couple of hours with him. In a way, what he has to share is common sense, but I've been amazed at how many people lack the confidence or organizational or sales skills to promote themselves. This seminar should prove useful.
