I enjoy looking around at boats on Ebay, and seen some Jon's you might like.
I know your down south, but I can't remember where exactly, but all these
boats are down there. Most come with trailers, but the size they are, you
could take them off and sell the trailer and recoup some of your cost. They
should easily fit in the bed of your truck. I know you might be looking for
a larger boat then 12', but if you stick to fishing lakes or horsepower
restricted lakes, or rivers, it's hard to find an easier boat to launch or
fish out of than that 1st one I listed, the 10'. I had that exact same one,
and I kick myself in the behind every time I think about when I sold it. I
had an old Motorguide 24 lb thrust motor that would push it right along
pretty darned well. I could pick that boat up out of my truck, and have it
loaded and fishing in 10 minutes, was a beautiful thing. I mostly fished a
600 acre fishing only lake with it and the river system around here and
never had a problem.

I would agree with the others though if you plan on fishing any larger
recreational lakes though. Anyway, I just thought you might find this
useful possibly, and sorry about the long links, I'm not sure how to shorten
them.

Regards,

Doug

Thanks Doug! I've seen a couple of these ads already and there are a pretty
bargains with the trailers and accessories. The second link is the one that
I'm going to watch. It still has three days on it... but if the bid stays
low, I'll bid.

I'm in Tennessee by the way. Nashville area.

Thanks again.
Charles

Glad to help and I hope you get that one, looks pretty nice! If not that
one though, there's always deals on there, just have to wait for the all the
planets to line up just right before you find just the perfect one at the
perfect price. Anyway, good luck!
Is it still fishable down there right now? or did you guys get hit with last
snowfall that was going thru? I'm seriously considering heading south and
see if I can find some open water somewhere is why I"m asking. Don't know
how far south I'd have to go. Gettin a case of cabin fever ya know....

Anyway, take care,

Doug

It's always fishable down here! The only time it gets bad is when the ice
builds up on the ramps from all the boats pulling out. Nashville hasn't
seen, and doesn care to see, snow in quite a while, and Jerry can tell you
about that one. LOL

Looked like downtown Baghdad that one winter.
