I'm doing a little study concerning native brook trout in a small stream
flowing east off Blue Ridge. Breeding habits, size and life expectancy..
Now get word that April issue of Wildlife in North Carolina will include "
a multiyear, multiagency study that reveals where native Southern Appalachian
brook trout live and how they are doing. [ hope they did not find my stream]
Re Middleton ---Bought another batch of books at our local library and one
small one -Lefty Kreh 's Fly Fishing for Trout--volume one -special
techniques-- includes a chapter --A Brief History of the Major Trout
Species-- was written byHarry Middleton.
If weather stays warm will probably try to catch a couple of specs next
week,
Joe
