Default New Melones Lake yesterday.

Since a salmon derby was postponed, took the team to New Melones. Slow
fishing for trout and Kokes. Saw no nets flying. LDRed 2 trout trolling up
the river arm. Switched to bass, and we landed a few up to a pound. A few
bluegills. brown worms and a smoke dart head did most of the damage. Kept
one bass, that managed to completely swallow the hook and was bleeding.
Windy, so hard to fish bass where I wanted.
