Hi all, Im planning a fly fishing trip to montana pretty soon. I can
go for about any week between the middle of august and the end of september. A little background - Ive fished in Colorado for 15 years, and been up to the Madison river area twice - thats the area I want to go again. I'll be driving. My questions are - 1. What week - (I MUCH prefer dry fly fishing) 2. Should I stay at the Madison river all week or try Yellowstone, Galaltin, Beaverhead, etc? 3. It has to be cheap. I dont mind camping, but would also like a shower and a bed now and then. Any suggestions there? 4. This trip is all about fishing - maximizing time on the water, no distractions like sight-seeing, etc!! Thank you all in advance - this will be the last fishing trip Ill get to take for a while so Im hoping to make it the best Feel free to post or reply by email. |
