Default The new Sage RPLXi2 rods

Hello All,

The new Xi2 rod blanks are constructed/laid up in a way that is very labor
intensive compared to previous methods. This new method creates a rod that
has better casting performance, more lifting power, more durable and has a
straighter trajectory.

I am headed tomorrow to North Carolina's outer banks with Paul Johnson of
Sage Rod Company to test a bunch of new Xi2 rods on False Albacore,
Stripers, Bluefish and King Mackerel.

Most of the guides are at Cape Lookout now. Dennis at Harker's Island
Tackle is a good source of info. including what flys are hot. His 10/27
report is posted below. Good luck and watch for debris still floating
around from Isabel.

To Fish is Human...To Release Divine!

No boats offshore today. Gray and speckled trout were caught in the Middle
Marshes. Gray trout were caught on both sides of the Harkers Island Bridge.
There were a few false albacore caught today at the Cape Lookout Rock
Jetty...the weather didn't cooperate much today.

Hi Steve,

As you know, having a fly shop is a tuff job, but someone has to do it.
