Default Midge Swap!!!!

All of the flies are in and there are some great looking patterns here. I
will dedicate a few hours tonightr or tomorrow to sort, package and send
these little guys so you all should be casting some midges this week. I need
to get to the store and get a few bubble envelopes to put them in so I
reckon they'll be in the mail on Thursday. If I can tear myself away from
the new Xbox, I'll try to get some pictures too.
Right now, Im off to cook a pork tenderloin and then do battle with evil
terrorists for the evening. Rainbow Six 3 has got to be one of the best Tom
Clancy games yet, especially on X-box live. Had me up til 1 in the AM last
night and contemplating calling off work today. This is a far cry from
asteroids, although I used to stay up past curfew playing that one too....
See ya soon.

Matt, I'd be happy to post photos on the ROFFSWAPS page if you're
interested. Send me an email (remove.invalid to reply) or just post a
message here.

Hi Matt,

Sorry to post here, but I'm still not able to get through to your personal
email. Just a quick check on the status of the midges. I'm heading up to
the Owens
River (a tailwater) next Thursday, and was hoping to give some of the
patterns a try. If there's one thing Owens River browns love, it's midges,
and I'm hoping to show 'em something new!

Cheers,
Bill

Sorry to IJ this thread, but I'd thought I'd let you know Bill, that Cindy
and I will be on the Lower Owens next Thursday, Turkey Day, and Friday, and
possibly Saturday. Look for a little white Rav4 and lets wet a line and a
whistle together!

A white Rav4? We'll be twins, and I look forward to finally meeting you
two. As it now stands, my wife and I will be spending Thanksgiving with
friends up the road, and I'll be continuing on my own to Bishop on Friday
morning. I plan on getting into town by early afternoon, dumping my stuff
at the Elms, and heading to the river for the late afternoon/evening.
Saturday I have the whole day, and Sunday morning will find me on the water,
too. Surely we can make something work...I'll send you a cell number where
you can reach me. Still, I thought our first meeting would have been on
"The Creek."

Cheers,
Bill

Yeah, the RAV4 is Cindy's new wheels. I prefer the Big 'Ol Truck. But we
need to see how her vehicle works for trips.

We'll be staying at the Outdoorsman Lodge. Let's take it to email and
exchange cell numbers.

Triplets, but my wife won't let me drive hers. Besides it has "girly" stuff in
it.

I took a lot of ribbing about my "girly" car when I first got it, but I
really love the little thing. Works like a champ in the snow and sand, but
mud...say like the stuff on the east side of the Owens after a storm...well,
that's a story for another time. Thank God for the west road ;-)

Cheers,
Bill
