The vet later was cleared in a closed enquiry and got promoted. Anyway, OLAF, the serious fraud squad of the EU know his identity, so he did not get away completely with threatening Mrs Pat in her own home. He did get away with attempting to plant a bug on my computer. Although Norfolk Police agreed that an ofence not covered by Crown Immunity did seem to have been committed on examining the computer, they somehow failed to follow through and never returned You can see why a lot of people want me silenced, can't you? This report, is of course from America, where they know how to deal with veterinary crooks! I could not even imagine one thinking about intimidating a witness to Congress, let alone getting away with it. http://www.registerguard.com/csp/cms...13&sid=6&fid=1 Meat inspectors suspended after recall LOS ANGELES - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has suspended at least two federal meat inspectors following the largest beef recall in the nation's history, a union head said Friday. Stan Painter, chairman of the National Joint Council of Food Inspection Locals, said the USDA confirmed it has placed a veterinarian and a floor inspector from Westland Hallmark Meat Co. on paid administrative leave. The USDA recalled 143 million pounds of beef from the Chino slaughterhouse on Feb. 17. The recall came after the Humane Society of the United States released undercover video showing plant workers trying to get so-called "downer" cows - sick or crippled animals - to stand by shoving and dragging them with forklifts, zapping them with electric prods and aiming water hoses at their faces and noses. |
