![]() DH The T/A bow is a successful pattern for Salmon in Michigan. I think they like to fish them in chartreuse. I also believe they fish the swimming jimmy a variation of the T/A bow with a spun head. When the fish the Jimmy they use a 300-400 grain head. As for the two hooks I would cut the first hoot off and leave the trailer. I am not certain if stinger hooks are legal in the Great Lake. I use a stinger hook for the lead hook because it has a large gap and I feel with the spun head and large eyes one needs a wider gap hook. As for the wadington shanks I think they are great for tying Popsicles. However one does not get the same action as the articulated flys. The manner in which the two hooks are joined achieve an action similar to a rapala. -- theartoflee He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ theartoflee's Profile: http://www.njflyfishing.com/vBulleti...php?userid=876 View this thread: http://www.njflyfishing.com/vBulleti...ad.php?t=15331 ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |
