Default Penns Creek and environs, end of September

Well circumstances have conspired to lead me to Pennsylvania at the
end of September. Any suggestions regarding recent first hand
experience at Penns and nearby waters would be appreciated: cheap
motels, good guides, junk food, best bar, books related to the region,
etc. Haven't fished too much in the last couple of years but I'm sure
it'll all come back to me. Now that I look at the map of PA, I'm
kicking myself for not fishing the area back when I used to drive
between Ann Arbor and New York City.

with luck, Mu, some cooler water will fall on Penn's valley and you may have
excellent choices for fishing. For guiding, lodging and other key info,
contact either Bruce
at www.Pennscreekangler.com or call Jonas at the Feathered Hook in Coburn.
Other lodging options include the Millheim Hotel in Millheim, right on rte
45.
Destinations to fish would include: Penn's Creek, Big Fishing Creek, Spring
Creek and White Deer Run. Keep in touch closer to the actual trip and
details may be had
here.
