Default vise advice

My Renzetti vise is worn out I guess. Has two screws to clamp
the hook. Just does not hold the hooks very well. I tie flies only
for my own fishing pleasure but do try things from size 24 to 6/0
(for Canada). I have some Cabela's points to spend and was looking
at the Renzetti Cam Series. Whatever I get will likely last me the
rest
of my life, although I would prefer to wear out two or three of them.

Any vise advice would be appreciated.

If you are happy with the vice, then just buy the cam operated jaws
for it;

If the vice suits you, and it presumably does as you would not
otherwise have worn the jaws out, then just replace them with the cam
operated jaws. There is nothing to be gained by buying some other
vice.

good advice, Mike. In fact, if the jaws are shot, he may just be able to get
them replaced by Renzetti. I know my Presentation is guaranteed for life. I
do have to pay $10 to replace the interchangeable jaws, but all other parts
that need fixing are free.
Tom
p.s. Mine is 19 years old......so times may have changed.
