It's been about a month since this year's fishin' trip started

I offer a memory or three to share with anyone bored enough to read
them

I'm at the HFork now and have been here a couple days ... been extra
slow, lots of rain, hail and wind .... and LOTs of mosquitoes in the
rare moments it's warm enough for them to be out

Hope you are all getting in lots of quality time ... waving a stick
and playing in the creek

The next time you fish Duck Valley (if there is a next time) try large
(#12 or #10) red and black chironomids under a bobber. Willi and I did
well with them. Especially Willi -- he outfished me about 3 to 1,
despite his float tube issues.

Sorry I missed you. Check out my Duck Valley photos on Facebook.

The wind can be brutal there. We were lucky to have good weather.

Regarding Silver Creek, the Brown Drake hatch was a total bust this year
because of the cold, rainy weather. I managed a couple of nice browns on
a mouse, which was fun. This is the wettest Spring anyone can remember
in these parts.
