Default Penns, Spring, and There Goes the Neighborhood

I visited Hemlock Acres for the long weekend. Took Friday as a
vacation day. I fished Spring Creek and did okay Friday and
Saturday. I used a beetle with a scud or pink san juan worm as
droppers. I had to stop in a store Friday to buy a long sleeve shirt
as I had packed zero and they were calling for 55 degrees and windy on
Saturday. I saw an amazing sight on Spring (both Friday and
Saturday). Fish were jumping out of the water, one and two feet into
the air. There must have been 6 in the stretch I was fishing
consistently taking to the air. I assume that they are getting pumped
(pun intended) for the fall spawn.

I measured the water temp at the tunnel bridge about 4 PM on Friday-
72 degrees. About 2 miles down stream it was 76. On Saturday, about
the sametime of day, and the front passed it was 64 at the tunnel
bridge.

I bought Jeff Buffenmeyers place over they weekend. Now I'm a trailer
admiral- I own a fleet. There goes the neighborhhod.

The only fleets you got is phosphate of soda. :-)

The temp in the panhandle of NE (that's Nebraska for the
geographically challenged in the Northeast US) was at freezing last
night. I'm a thinking we're in the downhill slide to Winter.

Saw some fish doing that same thing one year 'bout this time. They
were nailing slate drakes.

Congrats on the trailer.

Yes, it was nice of me to go and get you after I'd landed the first 5 or 6.

I got my payback a few years later at Blue Rock. "I think these fish
have been fished over." "Yeah, by me."

I know ROFF is not meant to be a sales venue but is there a way to
expose my trailer to some people who might find it an attractive place
to come fish?
