Default 2004 Clave Schedule Site?

There was a web site last year which listed all of the claves for
2003. Does anyone know of one for 2004?

Also, is there a way for some messages on the board to be "stuck" to
the top (like clave schedule information)?

Thanks in advance.

I see by your post that you use Google to access this blog. Last
year this bulletin board had an executive recording secretary who
managed a database of all fly fishing related events all over the
world and a full-time webmaster who coordinated the culling of
that list to highlight and promote 'Claves.

Unfortunately, the executive recording secretary was Canadian
and we just could not afford to pay the protectionist tariffs on
the Canadian electrons needed to keep that valuable service afloat.
In fact, this message board is in such financial straits that we
may be forced to shutdown the T-shirt shop and the travel agency
and we have lately been forced to charge annual dues.

As for "sticking" a banner on the top, that is an excellent idea
and we had been negotiating with Viacom and Time Warner to do
just that until the economy tanked and so it has been taken off the
table for now.

Thank you for your interest and if you'll complete the application
form we will send you a list of 2004 'Claves as soon as you've paid
your 2004 dues.

Who is handling officer nominations? I'd like to start the process early by
nominating Cyli for reelection to her present post (fine job, Cyli, just fine)
and am willing to print the required number of bumper stickers for the campaign.
I am also in the process of printing "Down With Church" bumper stickers, but am
having some production issues with the religious zealots at the printing
company. Frank's abandonment of the swap duties are cause to have him
immediately removed from Honorary Swapmeister, IMHO.

Ken, will you be chairing the golf outing this year?

First you'll have to find out the difference between the World Wide
Web (anything that starts with www. these days) and Usenet.

This is a newsgroup. It is not a Web forum, a board, or an IRC
channel. Newsgroups cannot have banners. Read the group
news.announce.newusers to learn more. Do not feel that I'm putting
you down in that suggestion. I have it as one of the newsgroups I
read occasionally and I've been on the WWW and Usenet for about a
decade.

We could have a regular message posted at intervals giving info on
what Claves were happening where and when. But that would have to be
done by some individual who'd care enough to find out when they all
were and keep it up to date. Are you volunteering? I have to tell
you that such a thing can be a real PITA to do and you'll get little
thanks and any time it's incorrect or misses the schedule it's
generally posted on, you'll get criticism. The only automated FAQs
I've seen are ones with info that rarely changes.

Well done, Ken.

I try. Of course there are others more qualified, but I seem to be
the sucker who got stuck with it.

Nope, I distinctly remember that you volunteered for the
job.......um......well, by proxy......but I don't see how that could
possibly be construed as being germane.

....and what with acronyms and all...Cyli, might not like a bumper sticker
