OT vinyl (sp?) to CD

I'm installing a CD player in my travel trailer and got to thinking that I
have this hotrod PC and could use it to transfer my old fart music ( Monk,
Mingus, Miles, Coltrane etc ) from LPs to CD

Anybody got any tips? links? to help me get started

Personally, I look for stuff on CD that has been re-mastered. Ebay is a good
start...

Do it yourself if you have more time than money... it's pretty time
consuming though.
