it's a mystery to me. mccray could tie some beautiful flies, and he had
no need to steal the work of others. i suspect he's dead or in jail...

Other guys were saying similar kinds of things after he was MIA for a
couple months, but then we finally heard from him. He said he had "lost"
the flies and finally found them. He said he was too embarrassed to tell
us that and that he would get them in the mail. That was several months
ago without a word and no response to emails that did go through. Kinda
hard to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope that he's either dead
or in jail!!
