At Christmas i was bought a mitchell electronic reel, for those of you who
don't know, it has a bite alarm incorporated into the spool, which 'beeps' 4 times a spool revoloution......I only fish in April - Sept so i've used it twice...has anyone else who owns one of these, noticed that to actually disengage the baitrunner/alarm it takes about 10 turns of the handle, or until the spool base reaches the 'bottom', I'm sure 'MITCHELL' could have had some better way of immediately dis-activating the alarm after a 'bite'.....what are your oppins?....P.S. my old man just sent for 1 , and when it arrived, the alarm was so precarious, that he sent it back...1 min it wud work, the next it wouldn't.......these reels are very temperemental, do you not agree?.....All the best FRED C --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
