With all the rain they probably moved up shallow around the edges where you
can't get to them through the timber. Tough break. I'll try not to fish
there after a good rain.

Hmm makes sense to me, fortunately I was on my lake and able to get them.
Almost all of my fish were caught today using Dave hair jig's that I tied
last night. His hair does catch big ugly fish. Amazingly enough his hair
does not attract pickerel. They must be disgusted with something that has
more slime then them :-)

PS Dave didn't show up today

PSS, Good luck Harry, Black bungee worms on shaker rigs, or those
blueish/purple riverside worms that they sell for a 1.49 at Wal Mart.
Remember who beat that lake last year?

Nope Rich, I can confidently say the weren't in the top 12' of the water
column, unless of course they weren't biting...

The water is pretty clear, didn't seea sign of life anywhere in the
shallows.

I would have to say that if Warren got skunked it was one of two things, the
fish really were not biting or he was fishing a NWC :-)
