Oh, I'm definitely up for it, but I only have a three day weekend.
I'm not sure I can justify spending two days driving for one day of
fishing.

Speaking of Glacier NP, we are heading there next week. We've never
been there before, so can you suggest any tips on good campgrounds
and fishing spots in the area?

I like the Many Galcier campground. The nearby lakes have small trout,
most of the good trout fishing involves a long hike. Don't forget
Serrburn for pike, regardless of the water level the fish will be near
the edges, not at the very head of the lake, but starting about half a
mile East.

I've heard great things about a lake near the summit of the
Going-to-the-sun highway. It's just a short walk down from the top,
and has a short name that escapes me now.

We've taken a couple 8-12 mile hikes into nice lakes, one was from Two
Medicine, I think it's Dead Man or Lost Man, something like that. I
think you'll find the east side of the park is quieter than the west
side, and a little more grand. St. Maries is a nice campground that's
a bit more centrally located than Many Glacier, but much larger.
