Default Leaving for the Lappland clave

Howdy folks.

I'm taking the night train this evening up north. Osmo will pick me up
tomorrow morning in northern Finland, and we will then drive together
to the clave gathering area. We will have a couple of days of fishing
there before the clave starts officially with the heli-flight on
Monday.

I didn't basically fish last year (finished my thesis). This year has
been better, but I've only fished in nearby areas, where I don't
typically catch much/any fish. Now I'm going to be spending a couple
of weeks (clave plus some extra time in northern Norway) fishing
_excellent_ rivers in _great_ places with _jovial_ fishing buddies. Am
I excited - you bet.

I will try to take as many pictures as possible when I rest my hand
from landing all those fish. Don't read the TRs if you are of the
envious type.

Jarmo,

See you there!
Hans Bock has already arrived to the area, according to an email from him.
He's probably doing his best to set the standard´s for this years clave with
some lb5 trout.

Spoke to Vaughan yesterday, he just came back from a creek in the area, the
Upper Gierts creek.
The ******* managed to catch four 20+ inch trout in two days.

/ Roger
Daytime engineer
Lifetime fly fisherman
If you feel like it, visit http://www.imsoc.se/angler/ for info on fly
fishing in northern Sweden, Lapland,
or visit http://www.imsoc.se/ffgallery/ , the fly fishermen's gallery.

I felt a sudden itch.

We will try to help Hans to the best we can.

Single malt and raving fishermen on their way.

And my own journey to the clave begins tomorrow with an afternoon drive to
Phoenix. Tuesday at 7 I'm on a flight to Stockholm, in Umea Wednesday
evening, then up to the clave myself with Vaughan on Friday. See you there,
Jarmo!

Sorry, Bill. We flew almost directly overhead, but from 20 hours of
sitting on airplanes and 3 hours sleep, I was snoozing at the time.
But I'll catch a few dozen fish for you, instead!
