Default Can you believe everything you hear at the ramp?

I have heard that exact story about many different waters. Sometimes its
Game & Fish, sometimes its USFWS, but the story is the same.

After Joe and I had the boat loaded up last weekend and was getting
everything back in its' place, a guy pulled up beside us in his truck and
was asking how we did. We kinda talked to him for a few minutes and then

he
told me something that I find VERY hard to believe...

He said that the TWRA had been doing fish studies in the lake for the past
month or so, shocking them to the surface. One fish they pulled up was a
12lb smallmouth. Of course that would be a new World Record! TWRA refused

to
tell anyone where the fish was found, but that it was released alive and
healthy back into the lake.

Tell me... what are the chances? Percy Priest has very little smallmouth
management, and no slot limits to protect larger fish. The biggest smallie
that I've seen from that lake was 6.5lbs. Think it could happen?
