That's the problem with statements like "if the outing was scheduled the
week following Easter. Every school is closed".

However...it IS true that if the outing were scheduled on one of the weeks
when MANY areas have spring break, then more people might be able to
attend.

Of course, then you have to factor in the
1. extra costs and crowding of travel arrangements during Spring break
2. the usual over-crowding of any recreational facilities/hotels/motels/
etc. during Spring break
and
3. Old people like me being unhappy because someone is applying common
sense
to this arrangement .

is NOT a good excuse to refuse to look at other options.

Of course as a nonattendee what right do I have to comment anyway....
