![]() "Wayne Harrison" wrote in message .. . "beausdad" wrote (snip) My last brown of the day was a good 14 inches or better, so I decided to call it a day as the clouds were threatening. Ran into one helluva storm on the way home. Lots of lightning and many drops the size of water balloons. wow, man, that is one helluva fish up that far on boone's fork. didn't it feel great when you first realized his size, and ain't it nervous to the max every time it happens, up in those beautiful hills, in the old north state? I love this part of the state and all of its trout streams, regardless of size. yfitp wayno (well, of course, you ain't told us about the important things, like length and brand of rod and leader, and size of the tippet, and the ****ing knots they were all tied together with...) I'd rather have back surgery than give away sacred info on ROFF. However, I will say that the only knot beyond the flyline worthy of my attention is the blood-knot and that I use a 7X tippet with regularity. Mark |
