![]() "Dave B" wrote in message ... I am always on the lookout for unusual baits to use and last week had some good runs on bananas (no fish) and cockles (one eel). Danish Blue cheese got me a 3lb Chub and4lb Bream the week before and the week before that Cathedral City cheese and pepperami got us 8 chub betwwen 3-4lb and I also had a 9lb common. Has anyone had any success with Strawberries? I would be delighted to hear from you - many thanks - Dave B not strawberries but blackberries, had some nice carp using them at one lake, there used to be a blackberry bush overhanging the water, i can only guess they fell in and the carp being inqusitive snaffled them up and got used to them. |
