There's a TV tower over by Fargo that's 2,063 ft. It's the highest
structure in the world.

To the best of my knowledge there are no 1000-foot drops in Minnesota. :-)

I was going to suggest the IDS Tower, but I decided to google it first.
It's only 792 feet. Damn.

over by Fargo

Someone help me with the geography association. Fargo is to Minnesota as
____ is to ____.

Well, I suppose as Fargo is basically on the ND/MN border, and the guy
said "*by* Fargo," that there's no real problem, here.

I married a beautiful woman from Minnesota, and dang if I don't hear
"Oh, up by Fargo" all the time at family gatherings when folks are
referring to that section of MN.

.. . . but the tower is in ND, not that it's a real problem or anything.

Not only is this TV tower not in Minnesota, but it isn't the tallest
structure in the world (nor is it the "highest"). :-)

It's the tallest and the highest, stuff under the ocean don't count.
There use to be one in NoDak that was 2,400 ft high but it collapsed.
taking some people with it. Be happy you don't work on towers.
As for Wayno, Fargo is to Minnesota as in the movie "Fargo" which
actually takes place in Minnesota. Maby Cyli can splain it to you.
